Mother Letters Releases Today: Share the Mess and the Glory

Today, I would like to humbly send you over to a guest post I’ve written at A Holy Experience for Ann Voskamp. That my words are in her space is utterly humbling.

Then? Could you get up and do some cartwheels with me?!!!

Mother Letters releases today!!!

You can actually buy it on Amazon! Oh my bertha.

With all the love in the world, the Haines clan, the amazing women of Squee! and countless mothers who need encouragement and empowerment in this motherhood journey, we ask you to join us at the Mother Letters release. Send Mother Letters to those you know need encouragement, and then write your own Mother Letter and link up at the Mother Letters Link-up Party at any time between today and Mother’s Day. Those who share with us will be entered to win jewelry from a Savage Heart, a piece for you and one to share with a Mother in your life.

Share with us in the Mess and the Glory!

We are so grateful for any way you can help us spread the word about this book. It has changed my life and helped me through some dark days, and our prayer is that it serves women around the world.

And I would like to whisper thank you thank you thank you to every single Mama who originally submitted a Mother Letter or #MotherLetters photo. Not only the contributors of this edition, but also every single mother voice who has slipped an email into our inbox, you’ll never have any idea how you came at just the right time, how you’ve curated for me a perspective of motherhood that I dare say has changed the lives of my children. Your stories stick with me. You’ve helped me see our position in its Glorious Mess. I can’t say thank you enough.

  13. First, congratulations and celebrating with you for God’s provisions…
I found you through Ann’s (Voskamp’s) site, actually her yesterday linking to you.

I am hungry to “burst”, as the Jack Kerouac quote expresses in the quote at the bottom of your blog…

Please know, if there should ever be a time when you might feel as if words are not truly heard, be assured that God knows how to direct a hungry heart to hear what you have to say, what He is working in and revealing to you. In praise, encouragement, need, or wherever paths lead, thank you for sharing. Your post of yesterday was especially needful.

Tangent… your family is beautiful. your boys… truly handsome. I have four boys (three first kids are boys, and last) and my fourth is a girl… Be blessed in your journeying to raise your boys to be men of honor and integrity… Quite a task, but He knew the blessing would be just right for us as we lean on Him.

    Thank you again.

  14. I am hungry to write well, artfully, worshipfully, and so recently I went on a quest to read more bloggers who write in the way I aspire to. I found you and have so enjoyed following you the past couple of weeks. You have a gift. That you were featured on a blog the level of Ann Voskamp’s is no surprise to me. :)

Thanks for being an inspiration to me to continue learning my art, and to worship the Creator more than my menial creations.
